Casimir W. Cook II, an associate of the firm, has experience in trademark and copyright transactional and litigation related matters. He represents international and Fortune 500 clients in a number of industries including the arts, design, electronics, sports and leisure, apparel and accessories, technology and entertainment. He also works on the formation and maintenance of start-up companies, not-for-profit organizations and other business entities such as partnerships and limited liability corporations.
Mr. Cook’s areas of expertise include matters related to clearance, prosecution, licensing and portfolio management. He specializes in the protection of proprietary interests and rights both domestically and internationally including trademarks, copyrights and domain names. He also handles issues of unfair competition, the right of publicity, anticybersquatting and defamatory websites and geographical indications.
Mr. Cook served as a summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert Charles Kohm in the New York State Supreme Court for the County of Queens in 2002.
