Jenae C. Gureff

Jenae C. Gureff, an associate of the firm, has experience in prosecution and litigation matters involving domestic and foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights. Mrs. Gureff counsels her clients on protecting and enforcing their intellectual property portfolios, conducts due diligence reviews of venture capital investment portfolios, and renders opinions related to patentability, infringement and right-to-use matters. She also represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office including appeals, interference proceedings and inter-partes reexaminations.

Mrs. Gureff's areas of expertise include matters related to the mechanical and electrical aspects of medical devices, particularly heart stents, biomedical surgical techniques and diagnostic imaging equipment. She also handles the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the mechanical aspects of electrical connectors, commercial and residential lighting units, airline equipment, power systems, eyewear, nanotechnology instruments and laboratory products.
