JD Ma, an associate of the firm, has experience in prosecuting electrical art patent applications, particularly RF-based and wireless communications including digital signal processing, cellular network and multiple access protocols such as CDMA, TDMA and FDMA. His prosecuting experience also extends to electronic circuits such as CMOS and MOSFET. Other areas of expertise include enterprise client/server systems, PKI-based computer security, computer graphics, streaming video, embedded systems, image encoding/decoding, bioinformatics, database applications, VoIP and graphical user interface.
Prior to joining to firm, Mr. Ma spent 12 years as a computer engineer working for technology startups in Silicon Valley as well as established technology companies. During this time he developed award-winning console video games, online bond-trading systems, real-time stock charting software, cross-platform web server plug-in modules for securing online shopping and reliable enterprise database applications for handling large environmental database for federal government.
Mr. Ma is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
