Rajiv S. Shah, an associate of the firm, has experience in preparation and prosecution matters involving domestic and foreign patent applications and U.S. trademark applications. He counsels clients on patent prosecution strategies, protecting and enforcing their intellectual property portfolios, patent and trademark licensing agreements and trademark co-existence agreements. He also renders opinions related to patentability, infringement and right-to-use matters. In addition, Mr. Shah represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office including trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shah worked for another IP law firm where he managed the patent and trademark portfolios of U.S. clients and served as liaison for the prosecution of foreign-based patent applications. Mr. Shah started his career as a law clerk for The Center for the Advancement of Genomics.
