Stacey J. Longanecker, a partner of the firm, has experience in electronic, electrical, communications and computer patent matters. She focuses on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications and conducting studies of patent validity and infringement. She also counsels clients on patenting strategies and IP portfolio management including conducting IP due diligence studies for mergers and acquisitions and commercial market introductions of products and services. Her clients include Fortune 100, Fortune 500 and foreign companies.
Ms. Longanecker’s areas of expertise in communications technologies include TDMA, CDMA, FDMA and multicarrier signaling, broadcast and full mesh satellite communications and other broadband communication systems. She also has extensive experience with cellular communications, SONET, ISDN, xDSL, digital carrier systems, fiber optic networks, data compression and noise reduction processing.
In addition, Ms. Longanecker has expertise in networking and computer technologies including device management, streaming content distribution, multi-modal access to content via voice and data devices, speech processing and voice-enabled web tools, and information storage and processing applications.
