Stanislav Torgovitsky, a partner of the firm, has experience in negotiations, licensing and litigation. Mr. Torgovitsky also prepares and prosecutes patent applications and performs infringement and validity studies in electronic and electrical matters, software, business methods and mechanical arts. He also represents clients in appellate proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Torgovitsky’s areas of expertise include semiconductor circuit design and manufacturing, telecommunications, optics, laser physics, signal processing, cellular telephony, electronic displays, global positioning systems, computer hardware/software, Internet applications and data processing. His clients include domestic, international and Fortune 500 companies. He also serves small and midsized companies and individual entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Torgovitsky spent seven years at another major IP law firm and nine years providing satellite mission support, and trajectory and propulsion system design for NASA's Flight Dynamics Facility at the Goddard Space Flight Center. He also lectured in astronomy laboratory at The George Washington University Physics Department, and consulted on computer software and hardware design and implementation for the National Institute of Independent Colleges and Universities. Mr. Torgovitsky is fluent in Russian.
