Kevin M. Barner specializes in patent procurement and litigation. His areas of technical expertise include telecommunications devices including wireless communication hardware and networking techniques; semiconductor device design and manufacturing; commercial electronics including digital televisions and display technology, printers, computers and computer networking techniques; GFCIs and smoke detectors; lasers; and lighting fixtures and ballasts. Alan I. Cantor has significant experience in patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright matters. His technical focus is on mechanical and electromechanical technologies. His areas of expertise include laboratory specimen processing; medical devices; automotive engine, braking and air bag systems; steam turbines; electrical receptacles, including GFCI receptacles; loudspeakers; infrared targeting; cargo container handling; injection molding; offset printing; papermaking; earth working; fitness equipment; and footwear. Cantor received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union.
